Objectives
After completion of the module students know the function of basic electronic components (such as resistors, capacitors, logic gates) and are able to design and understand simple electronic circuits. They can evaluate which components to use for a given task and independently implement and revise simple projects.
Description
Basic introduction to electronic components and simple circuits, design decisions between analog and digital implementations, between software (eg. in micro-controller) and hardware.
introduction to electronic modeling software PSpice and first hands-on experience designing and soldering a simple circuit.
Examination
oral, 30 min
