The “Deep Learning for Robotic Control” practical starts with an introduction of Deep Learning for robotic applications and the respective challenges. These lectures will be enriched through student presentations, which summarize a current research paper to highlight advantages and shortcomings of Deep Learning for robotic control. From the pool of presented papers, student teams of 2-3 students can choose a paper, which they re-implement, evaluate and present.
After the practical “Deep Learning for Robotic Control”, the students can understand state-of-the-art Deep Learning for robotic control and apply their knowledge to solve robotic control problems.
